The Mx-5 is the car that has re-introduced the term rag top fun into the 90's. Although the MX-5 hasn't the power of many other "sports" cars, it has been the handling that has defined it as a great car for pure driving fun.

My current driving machine is a 1990 1.6 ltr MX-5. It is the Adelaide REDMX-5.

With Mazda with-drawing the RX-7 from it's line-up in Australia for the first time in 25 years... Rotary enthusiusts are awaiting news form Mazda as to whether the RX-01 will go ahead, or if a MX-5 based rotary coupe will be availiable... After all they already have the 6 speed gearbox for the MX-5's and we all know a 13B TT will happy slot into the engine bay of an MX-5...
